NAME
       rmdir(1,2) - remove empty directories

SYNOPSIS
       rmdir(1,2) [OPTION]... DIRECTORY...

DESCRIPTION
       Remove the DIRECTORY(ies), if(3,n) they are empty.

       --ignore-fail-on-non-empty

              ignore  each  failure that is solely because a directory is non-
              empty

       -p, --parents
              remove DIRECTORY, then try to remove each directory component of
              that  path  name.   E.g.,  `rmdir(1,2) -p a/b/c' is similar to `rmdir(1,2)
              a/b/c a/b a'.

       -v, --verbose
              output a diagnostic for every directory processed

       --help display this help and exit(3,n,1 builtins)

       --version
              output version(1,3,5) information and exit(3,n,1 builtins)
