NAME
wall -- write(1,2) a message to users(1,5)
SYNOPSIS
wall [file(1,n)]
DESCRIPTION
Wall displays the contents of file(1,n) or, by default, its standard input, on
the terminals of all currently logged in(1,8) users.
Only the super-user can write(1,2) on the terminals of users(1,5) who have chosen
to deny messages or are using a program which automatically denies mes-
sages.
Reading from a file(1,n) is refused when the invoker is not superuser and the
program is suid or sgid.
